About Me
I'm a therapist with 15 years of experience helping people who've hit a wall with traditional therapy.
I became a therapist because I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to create change. But early in my career, I noticed something: many of my clients understood their problems perfectly. They could articulate where their patterns came from, what they needed to do differently, and why.
Yet understanding wasn't translating into change. Something was missing.
That observation sent me on a journey to understand what actually creates lasting transformation. I trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, somatic therapies, and eventually ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. What I learned changed everything about how I practice.
The missing piece wasn't more insight—it was the body. Trauma, anxiety, and depression aren't just stories we tell ourselves. They're lived experiences stored in our nervous systems. And they need approaches that can reach them where they live.
My Approach
My work is relational first. The techniques matter—I'm trained in EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy—but what creates change is the quality of what happens between us.
I help clients slow down and tune into what's happening beneath the surface. We pay attention to how experiences live in the body, in protective patterns, in old survival responses that made sense once and might be ready to soften now.
I don't rush. Therapy with me moves at a pace that respects both your protection and your growth. I won't push you into vulnerability before you're ready, and I won't pretend that insight alone is enough to create change. We work with the whole of you—mind, body, and the parts that learned long ago how to keep you safe.
This isn't about fixing what's wrong with you. It's about helping you feel more regulated, more connected, and more aligned with who you already are.
I work best with people who are curious about themselves—willing to explore patterns, especially around attachment, anxiety, trauma, and relationships. If you've done therapy before and understood your problems perfectly but still felt stuck, we might be a good fit.
I respect and honor each client's values and belief systems. If spirituality or faith is meaningful to you, I'm open to thoughtfully integrating it into our work together.
